Hmm. I couldn't get 0.9.0beta10 to work with 2.4.17, either. However, it just occurred to me that my previous kernels used devfs, and the new 2.4.17 wouldn't boot for me with devfs, so I'm running it without devfs. However, I realize now that I'll have to go back and redo my installation - something about a snddevices script, IIRC.
