I am having a difficult time compiling envy24control from
alsa.9beta10. (This is the most recent tarball, not from CVS.)
Everything else built without a hitch. From the error messages, it
looks like a gtk problem. (See excerpt below.) System is SuSE 7.2, with
gtk-1.2.10, with gtk+-devel-1.2.8.
Here is a sampling of the compile-time error messages:
