Trying to install the beta10a version of the ALSA files in order to check the full duplex capability of my SB 32 PnP ( CT3600), I am facing the following problem: The configuration and compilation of the files gives no problem but when I try to start the mixer I have the following message: [root@atm11 alsa-utils-0.9.0beta10a]# alsamixer alsamixer: function snd_ctl_open failed for default: No such file or directory Even more. I try to load the module snd-card-sbawe and I get the following: [root@atm11 alsa-utils-0.9.0beta10a]# modprobe snd-card-sbawe /lib/modules/2.4.14/misc/snd-emu8000.o: unresolved symbol _snd_magic_kcalloc_Rsmp_2061fcb1 /lib/modules/2.4.14/misc/snd-emu8000.o: unresolved symbol snd_magic_kfree_Rsmp_734de7d7 /lib/modules/2.4.14/misc/snd-emu8000.o: insmod /lib/modules/2.4.14/misc/snd-emu8000.o failed /lib/modules/2.4.14/misc/snd-emu8000.o: insmod snd-card-sbawe failed Any idea, hint that help me to go on ??
