Hi everybody,
I hope that one of you guys can help since I am not yet too familiar with
Linux. I have bought myself a SuSE 7.3 professional version for my ASUS L7300
Notebook. When configuring the soundcard (I have a Yamaha OPL3-Sa2 chip) with
YaST2, YaST2 complains that several modules cannot be loaded although the
sound card is found. When I try alsaconf instead, the soundcard is also
detected but installation will fail, too.
When booting my laptop, I see the foloowing error messages:

Saving the mixer setup used for this in /etc/asound.conf.

I have no idea at all what I have to change on the system.
