Hi. Not subscribed to the list, so please reply directly to me. I am running alsa 0.9.0 beta 7, with a emu10k1 card. I have MIDI fonts loaded, and I can play MIDI songs without any problems (discounting the fact that there are no reverb, chorus et cetera!).
When using Metronome ( http://metronome.sourceforge.net/ ), I can only hear the first two clicks, and then I get a "garbled" -- sort of choked up -- output. I don't know if this is ALSA or not, because I have no other MIDI implementation to try it on (I wish creative's emu10k1 driver would work). I also get strange noises when I move the mouse. This does not occur when playing regular MIDI files. Can anyone else try and verify this, and/or maybe tell me why this is so?
