Hi,
I'm having trouble using amixer. Stepping through the code indicates that it
wants to see a number of environment variables, but I'm not sure what to set
them to. It looks for some of these:
ALSA_CARD
ALSA_MIXER_CARD
ALSA_MIXER_DEVICE
ALSA_PCM_CARD
ALSA_PCM_DEVICE
ALSA_RAWMIDI_CARD
ALSA_RAWMIDI_DEVICE
What should I set these to?
My /proc/asound dir looks like:
[root@phoenix /proc]# tree /proc/asound

I'm using the following, all built on this system:
alsa-driver-0.5.11
alsa-lib-0.5.10b
alsa-utils-0.5.10
