I did download, compile and run the actual alsa packages (alsa-0.9.0beta9 on RedHat Linux 7.2 with preemptive kernel patch). this did work very well.
but now I would like to port my alsa-0.6.0 application to the new API. I am working at this for a week now, trying to figure out how use the new API. unfortunately the alsa-utils do not fit my appliction at all. therefore I wanted to ask you if you could send me source code that could help? Ideal would be a life playback application or some classes that initialize and use the alsa interface. I really appreciate any information...
