Hi. I iam running linux with 2.2.14 kernel on it. I just installed the latest stable release of ALSA drivers(driver - 0.5.12, library 0.5.10 and utils - 0.5.10). Everything is working but i get a very low quality sound with these drivers. When i listen to music with xmms i constantly hear cracking sounds. The quality is much worse than what it was with the native linux drivers! May be there is some opiton that needs to be configured or something. Please help me figure it out.
