Hello i have managed to comile and run the alsa driver for an Intel 8x0 sound card, but i have this single problem:
i have added a line to /etc/rc.d/rc.modules like this: /sbin/modprobe snd-card-intel8x0 well it doesn't load the module, but if after login in as root i run the same command it works.
