Hello everyone,
I just ordered a Stereo-link 1200 USB D/A device
(http://www.stereo-link.com). I would like to use it to play back MP3s
via my home theatre system, but retain normal functionality for my
normal computer audio (beeps, notifications, games, etc.). I will be
using ALSA for my main sound card (ensoniq 1370 based SB 128), though I
have the es1370 kernel/OSS driver compiled and available as a module.
I have 2 questions: a) will there be any problem using USB Audio with
another sound card using ALSA? b) are there any issues specific to
having 2 sound devices, or one ALSA and one USB Audio device that people
have run into?
