Hi,
I'm considering buying one of those two Hoontech cards.
Important to me is a (reliable) working optical out,
less important a digital in and good midi support.
I read reports that optical out of both cards is supported
by the ALSA drivers, but I don't know whether the
digital in of the XG is working or not.
Regarding the midi capability of the cards:
Especially the XG with the yamaha chip seems to be great under
Windows. Are all those features supported under linux/alsa tooEUR
In a feature sheet of the NX it was said, that the NX is using
"main" memory for it's midi operations. Does this work with the
alsa driversEUR
