Hi Chime,
On second thought, exactly how might I cup and paste an address book into a file? While I did indeed find addressbooks for my shellworld workspaces, because my gmail is setup via imap using alpine, that addressbook is somewhere else entirely. Rather then confuse the person who set up that imap and its shell, it would be best to simply cut and paste the entire thing.
steps for this?
thanks,
Karen

Hi Karen: Sure I can consider 2 ways. First your contact lists are in a file called dot addressbook, which you can even import in a message to yourself or some1 else. You can also cut-and-paste entries from that file. The .addressbook file would be in your home-directory on Shelllllworld also in any other shell-accounts you have.
