Can any one have any idea how this make file is working.
Without compiling gcc -c p1.c.

exe : p1.o
gcc -o exe p1.o
p1.o : p1.c
clean:
rm *.o
rm exe
***********************************
Makefile output as follows :
cc -c -o p1.o p1.c // I am not getting this line ???
gcc -o exe p1.o
