Or create some mechanism that grows more powerful over time, with a cap
around 6 months.

Though in that case, I wouldn't really call it “playing” a game.

But maybe it's kind of an “anti-clicker” game.

Or just a switch.

One problem is that this could end up rewarding people who *don't* play,
in detriment of us who do.
