The previous sentence is a fingerprint.

I note that 4st violated Rule 2471 in this message by claiming that the
sentence "I vote FOR on 9195." is a Fingerprint.

A Fingerprint is a document that could not have been reasonably created
without knowledge of some Plaintext. This clearly does not describe the
sentence in question, which is a perfectly ordinary sentence that anyone
might reasonably create by attempting to convey its meaning, without
knowledge of any Plaintext. This definition is part of the rules, and
therefore 4st ought to have known it.

The identity function is a perfectly good hash. (Indeed, it's collision-proof.)
