I've fixed the issue, but really it's just a nice place to tally up votes,
and is not at all required for me to post.

It makes it easy to visualize who's voted for what, which can be really
useful when there's a lot of proposals and you need to know if they're
going to pass or fail. (For instance, in the time before an assessment goes
out but the votes are already finalized.) Since it doesn't take very long
to enter your votes (or someone else's votes) it seems reasonable to always
have one on a distribution in case anyone needs to use it.
