Hello! Several things:
It's considered bad form to reply to the digest. It's too much stuff, and no one will know what you're replying to. Instead, if you want to play the game, it's strongly recommended that you turn off digest mode and get the messages individually. I know it may seem like a lot, but it will be easier to follow and allow you to reply to threads. Personally, I use a separate email address for Agoran stuff, though there are other ways of doing it. Agora does not have dynasties. We're a non-imperial nomic; there is no player who sets a theme or has veto power, and no resets of the ruleset. Instead, we have one continuous ruleset maintained over time. We do repeal rules periodically when we get bored of them, so it's not an infinite accretion of rules. I'm not going to try to get into the details of play at the moment, though some other players might. Instead, I'll direct you to the weekly summaries [1]. These have been prepared by our amazing Reportor, and list out all of the stuff that's going on at the moment. I recommend starting with the most recent ones and working your way backwards. If you have any more detailed questions, feel free to ask. A final suggestion is to join the unofficial Discord server, which, unlike the mailing lists, is real time.
