Nit: this one doesn't have the hints about coasts (e.g. nc and sc on Spa). Not sure which one is prettier.

Also, when I played on webdiplomacy.net, I remember it would show me the new positions of units on top of the orders that took them there. So, like your first map, but with the units are at their destinations like in your second map. I found that to be a useful at-a-glance view.
