Changes from original:

 * Small rewrites and rewording, as well as typo fixes.
 * Response to comment from G.: R101 is now recorded as depending on

 * Response to discussion on circular dependencies: reworded/toned-down
   circular dependencies comments.
 * Response to comment from Murphy: removed reference to Vanyel's thesis.

I've just markdown-ified this: https://agoranomic.org/ruleset-thesis/ , if that's useful/more readable to anyone.

Wow - your emails keep overlapping mine today :)

I had one other minor comment (not needing a revision IMO). I agree with
your manual overrides for the Fountain and the Parade. But the Birthday
contains the date definition, which is used in Ribbons and Tournaments, and
historically has been used for many fun activities. So while the wording of
that one is flowery (with only the last sentence having any game effect) and
it doesn't have *too* many dependencies, I don't think it fits your
description of being a "joke or otherwise meaningless".

Love the formatting! We really should do something to support decently-
formatted stuff as the "official" version over the text publication.
