Actually, now you mention it, I do occasionally find that I don't receive my own messages back, even though they show up on the website and everyone else seems to have received them. I hadn't specifically noticed whether or not the message is a reply being a determining factor in whether or not I receive it back, but I hadn't been looking out for it either.
