I destroy 3 incense to expunge 3 blots from myself. My formal apology follows.
Holding an office is potentially the largest responsibility any Agoran citizen can willingly take upon themselves. Abusing such a responsibility is not only an insult to the Spirit of the Game, but to fellow Agoran citizens and the office which an Agoran holds. Unfortunately, I must admit that I am responsible of this crime. I have disgraced the Spirit of the Game, the office if Cartographor, but most importantly, I have disgraced you all. In this apology, I speak to friends and enemies alike. I speak to the holders of the most important offices, and to those who have never even run. I speak to the capitalists who continue to buy zombies, and to the most impoverished who don't have the money to. I speak to those who bid in every land auction with surprising regularity. And, I speak to every single person that lies in between the two extremes. I am truly sorry. Please forgive me. I'll try to get another report out tomorrow. You have but hours before the land auction ends, so please bid. I realize now this is more of an advertisement than an apology at this point. Therefore, I also apologise for making this into an advertisement. I apologize for treating Agora as a joke sometimes. Finally, I apologise if this wasn't necessary and for not looking at the rules to check if it was. At that point, my records show e only had 4 Blots, because my attempt to impose Summary Judgement on em had failed (no crime specified). If that's correct, my interpretation is that e paid 6 incense to destroy 4 blots, because of the special way that expunging works (R2555): If expunging blots would reduce a person's blots to less than 0, their blots are instead reduced to 0 but the cost of expunging, if any, is not reduced. An alternate interpretation is that the whole exchange failed (I can't see any arguments that only 4 incense were destroyed). Discussion or CFJ on the matter welcome if desired.
