Well, the honorary office is being admin on the main mailing lists. It's not even really an "office" or in the rules anywhere. E's been willing to keep doing that and technical continuity tends to beat out rules/offices (e.g. with domains, etc.)
But now that you mention it, maybe I'm wrong - did e transfer control of the domain/mailing lists last spring? I vaguely remember that e passed something on, but didn't track the details...
