Look at whether there's a "Reply To" in the email header. If there is, clicking standard reply will send to that address (the mailing list usually puts a-d as a reply to on business and official messages). Otherwise, clicking reply will send only to the author of the replied-to message, and you'll need to use reply-list instead (and then edit the to address manually if you don't want to send to the same list).
