As Arbitor, I'm saying this is unclear in "specifying a statement to be enquired into" - is it the whole sentence, or the term 'this'? or maybe Gaelan is making a 'statement', referred to by 'this', which is the act of sending the email (in the sense that works of art can be considered 'statements')? Feel free to take the obvious next step.
