This reminds me of a similar proposal floating around a few years ago. (I can't remember whose idea it was, sorry.) The idea was that players could buy shares in other players and receive a proportionate cut of their earnings in whatever the currency was at the time. Players would buy and sell shares based on their prediction of player's future earnings. I don't think anything came of it, but maybe your proposed system could be expanded a little to include this at some point. -- Walker
