Unless you specify it in terms of nomic month starts, this is worse/ broken. "A month ago" isn't well defined. Is a month of time a certain number of variable days? 365.25/12? The same day a month ago? Etc. Because the rules don't define it is why we use 60 days. It would probably be worth adding something to R1023 that says "N months ago" means the same day of the month N months previous. Then I'll wait until August 31 to ask what happened on June 31. -G.
