Only if we consider the existence of email part of the game state. Which we likely would do, in order to keep playing -- provided we still had some means of communication. If playing was impractical in a real-world fashion, the game would be functionally dead regardless of the theoretical gamestate. (Compare, for example, the theoretical and realistic effects on a game of Monopoly of a child or younger sibling throwing all the pieces across the room.)
