I don't do much in Agora. More than some players but not as much as I would like to. Hopefully, I will get more involved in general when Cards are introduced; I already find them much more interesting than Notes. But a project I would like to do is something along the lines of the Agoran Weekly Journal. This would actually be weekly, perhaps with a more general summarisation at the end of each month. Here's a 'proto', taken from last week:
(Best viewed in fixed-width font) Agoran Weekly Journal Week beginning 15/ 06 15th: Tiger gets eir first win through points from the Cookie Jar, Enigma and the AAA. Wooble proposes 'Disinterested Judges'. G. protoes card types and gameplay balance, and later card specialty decks. Tiger discusses running eir own nomic at a gaming con. Coppro discusses getting rid of rests. 16th: Coppro discusses new criminal justice system. G. protos the return of CFJ dismissal. Ais523 supposedly acts on behalf of myndzi to register em. Yally tries to make Siege inactive, Siege objects and says e is planning to vote. Allispaul submits CFJ regarding contract definitions. 17th: C-walker is assigned to CFJ on myndzi's playerhood, controversially judges UNDETERMINED due to lack of evidence. Tiger goes on vacation; resigns Conductor. BobTHJ tries to zoop point transfer restrictions. 18th: Comex changes eir name to "c.". The controversy regarding myndzi's registration continues. There is some discussion regarding false claims of precedence in rules. Murphy proposes clarification of conditional votes. Coppro, comex and 'constanza' conduct contract/ contest scam. The contract scams continue. Coppro proposes fix to contract bug(s). Murphy proposes switch fix. 19th: Ais523 causes more myndziness. 20th: A record low of two public messages. 21st: Coppro accidentally publishes the scroll labels in eir 3SR report. An equity case is initiated regarding the above. G. apologises to winners for falling behind in eir Herald duties. Any comments? Is this the right length? Have I included the right events and the right amount of detail? Would anyone with an existing Agora-related site be interested in hosting this if I took it up permanently? And most importantly, is it worthwhile? I think it is important to record the interesting bits of our history. Otherwise they are too easily lost in the archives with other mundane actions and bits of info. That is the main reason why I want to do this. -- C-walker
