Well... if you're depositing so many assets (and getting such a low
multiplier) that it's ambiguous, you probably don't want the
transaction to go through anyway.

BobTHJ suggested I switch the multiplier from deposits to withdrawals,
but that reduces its efficacy against scams.  Say I somehow get my
hands on 20 2 Crops.  With a deposit rate limiter, I can only deposit
so many of the crops for much of a profit; after that I have to wait,
during which period the rates can be changed.  With a withdraw rate
limiter, on the other hand, I can dump them all and get lots of
zorkmids, and just take my time withdrawing from the bank.  While
everyone else mounts a run on the bank in panic.

In theory.  So far, only one person owns *any* zorkmids.  While
revising the system, as I said, will probably be necessary, I'd like
to first see how this way plays out.
