I think this is a Bad Idea. It essentially destroys all aspects of
gameplay where working against any kind of deadline is important; or
any play where what you do depends on what others have done; think
'Auctions' for a clear example.

And, when mixed with conditionals, it leads too easily to paradox when
the future action is "known" in advance: the first Win By Paradox (via
a Not Your Turn card) was this paradox. Just messy.

The only way I can see this working at all is on the "message" level,
not the "action" level. E.g. "a player may send a message and specify
a datestamp in the future, but no more than 4 days in the future (match
w/o objection timing). The message is taken[*] to have been sent at
that datestamp, can't be revoked, and has no effect on play prior to
the indicated datestamp".

That way, it's just a pragmatic message that is interpreted later;
tricks or paradoxes are much harder to construct. Still breaks
auctions, though, just on gameplay I wouldn't go for it personally.
