RMT is highly controversial in online games. Some games will ban a player for life if e buys or sells game-defined assets for real money, even by informal, out-of-game agreement. Others have realmoney-gameasset transactions written explicitly into the ruleset. I think that it would be an interesting experiment, and therefore very much in the nature of nomic; but, given the emotional weight that can be involved, it should be discussed at length first, before being actually implemented.
