Welcome! Some notes for new players: Don't say you wish to do something, just do it. (As an experienced B player, though, you probably know this.) For some reason, people get registration 'wrong' all the time, so phrasings like the one above are special-cased in the rules, and the registration worked. The best version of the ruleset to read on a first reading is <http://agora.qoid.us/current_flr.txt>, as it contains cross-references, judgements, and other information to make it easier to understand. As a first-time new player, you get a White Ribbon as a joining bonus, which doesn't do a whole lot but looks pretty (and may eventually win you the game, if you hang onto it long enough). You also get a Caste of Epsilon, giving you 1 vote on each proposal. (In time, you may find ways to get multiple votes on some of them.) Most of the gameplay takes place in contracts and contests, rather than the rules themselves; you can see a list of contracts and contests in the Notary's report, at <http://agora.eso-std.org/notary-report.html>. Most players like to join a contest (or lots of contests) as those are the main source of points. -- ais523 Registrar This would be the Greeter's job, but we just repealed that office
