Funny, I would argue that conservatism these days seems to largely stem from a failure to rationally recognize the non-existence of sky fairies. But I don't want to make assumptions, there are certainly liberals who are kooks as well, and I especially don't want to start a political discussion within these hallowed fora, so this will be my only post on the subject. -root
