Welcome! (Just a note: most of the time you take a game action by saying
that you take it, not that you wish to take it or request to take it.
Registration was special-cased because people get it wrong so often;
therefore, wishing to register is treated as equivalent to registering,
according to rule 869.)

As new player bonuses, you get a White Ribbon (which doesn't do a whole
lot but looks pretty, and you can win the game if you collect the set),
and a Caste of Epsilon (giving you one vote on every proposal).

The version of the rules that's probably best to read for a new player
is <http://agora.qoid.us/current_flr.txt>; it contains cross-references,
judgements and other information to help you understand it. It's also
probably worth knowing that most of the game's action happens in
Contracts rather than in the Rules themselves; you can find a list of
Contracts at <http://agora.eso-std.org/notary-report>. (In particular,
most players join at least one Contest sooner or later, as they are by
far the easiest way to gain points.)
