No one commented on that bit in Goethe's election refactoring proposal. I'd be happy to vote for a proposal that removed the implied consent to a nomination thing; fixing it to make consent implied only if the nominee should reasonably have had a chance to see eir nomination and refuse it is a bit clunky, and besides, who's to say that someone who doesn't notice eir nomination in the last half of a nominating period was paying enough attention to notice it in the first half of the period? > I nominate Goethe for the Monster.
