[More rotation.] I [proto-] agree to the following, become the Disc Jockey, and intend without three objections to make it a contest: { This is a public contract and a pledge. The name of this contract is Disco. The Disc Jockey CAN amend this contract with Agoran Consent. Any person CAN join this contract by announcement. Any party other than the Disc Jockey CAN leave this contract by announcement. Any party CAN become the Disc Jockey by announcement; the previous Disc Jockey, if any, is displaced. If this contract is a contest, then the Disc Jockey is its contestmaster. In the context of this contract, any term defined by Murphy's pledge that is the backing document for props has the meaning that is has in the context of that document. Each first-class player has an index known as eir groove, defaulting to zero. At the beginning of each day, each first-class player's groove is increased by the number of props that e owns, to a maximum of the number of props that e owns. Every action performed by announcement is chill if and only if this contract specifies that it is; otherwise it is rockin. Whenever a first-class player becomes the executor of an rockin action, eir groove is decremented by one. This occurs exactly once per action. Respect is a first-class player switch, tracked by the Disc Jockey, with values Excellent (default) and Bogus. Whenever a first-class player's groove changes to a value less than zero (regardless of whether it is changing from a value less than zero), that player's respect is flipped to Bogus. As soon as possible after a first-class player's respect becomes Bogus, the Disc Jockey SHALL attempt to revoke five points from that player. A first-class player whose respect is Bogus and has been so for the past seven days continuously, and whose groove is at least 5, CAN reduce eir groove by 5 by announcement. This is a chill action. Upon doing so, eir respect is flipped to Excellent. Submitting a ballot is chill, though retracting it is not. Any action which the executor is REQUIRED to perform by at least one rule other than Rule 1742 is chill. When a person transfers multiple mutually fungible asset instances, without any other actions in between the transfers, all such transfers except the first are chill. Awarding or revoking points is chill. Any action that CANNOT be performed by a given person more than twice in the same day is chill. Each week, the Disc Jockey SHALL attempt to award 5 points to each Excellent party to this contract, in descending order of the length of time since the party last became an Excellent party. If, after doing so, this contract MAY still award further points, than e SHALL attempt to award one point to each Excellent party in the same order; e SHALL continue doing so until this contract CANNOT award any further points. } Pavitra
