There have been multiple Michaels in the past, and multiple Ians (that's why Ian Kelly chose 'root' IIRC). "Custom" is that the first person to register under a particular "name or nickname" gets it and thereafter that name refers to that person. From memory, I don't think any of my just- registered friends' names have been used as Agora names or nicknames in the past, my apologies if I missed some historical players who used those (and IIRC precedent, it shouldn't affect registration status, but just require different nicknames). -Goethe
