------------------ Brainfuck Golf 1) Every week, the contestmaster SHALL announce a new task to be implemented in Brainfuck.
2) A week after the announcement, the contestmaster SHALL select one program which implements the task which is smaller than all other submitted programs. The author of this program is awarded 1 point for each character that it is less in size than the second-place program, up to the limit provided by the rules of Agora. The contestmaster SHALL include all submitted programs in the message where e awards these points. 3) If a player would be awarded points by this contest, the player shall be awarded a Brainfuck Point. A Brainfuck Point is a fixed asset. A Brainfuck Point is a currency; its recordkeeper is the contestmaster. Whenever a contestent's score would be set to zero, that contestant loses all Brainfuck Points. 4) If two programs or more programs tie for smallest size, then each contestant who was tied in this manner is awarded 5 points. 5) Each contestant may ONLY be awarded points for a single correctly functioning program, which is either the smallest submitted or tied for smallest. 6) A contestant MAY submit a program either via the public fora or in a private manner. 7) Any first-class player CAN join this contract by announcement. 8) Any first-class player CAN leave this contract by announcement. 9) The contestmaster CAN amend this contract, without 2 objections from contestants. 10) The reference Brainfuck implementation to be used is Gregor Richard's egobfi8, from the EgoBF suite of Brainfuck implementations and compilers, available at <http://www.esolangs.org/files/brainfuck/impl/egobf-0.7.1.tar.bz2> 11) The contestmaster shall be root. 12) This contract is a public contract by the rules of Agora. --------------------- [ make a Brainfuck Point a bit like a normal point, except that it can't be used for a game win.
