I estimated that it costs 1% of lifetime earnings to replace an employee.
(This varies by skill level, of course). Thus, a new hire already knows 99%
of what they need to know to do your job. Most of the remaining knowledge
will come from human communication at 5-10 bits per second, so it doesn't
matter if your replacement is carbon or silicon based.

Most of what you know comes from reading or listening, so a copy of this
knowledge already exists.
