The module pictured on the site is suitable for those quarter million
dollar supercomputer nodes that you can buy at the supermarket these
days, while it would be fun to run conventional AI waifus on this I'm
not sure it's a good pick for someone who's actively trying to surf the
singularity as I think the current algorithms are ripe to be replaced at
this point... To the best of my knowledge, any of the big 3 chips
(Intel, AMD, Nvidia) would be more adaptable to changing algorithms
where this chip would become a paperweight.
I am also becoming increasingly convinced that someone has nanotech in
an underground lab somewhere and when that is finally released it will
render anything that could be described as a sillycon wafer-based
semiconductor as quaint as a steam automobile.
