If The Great and The Good were as Great and Good as we all want to believe -- given that fighting their supreme power is going to entail a conflict the likes of which we've not seen since The Thirty Years War -- they would long ago have:
1) Adopted lossless compression of a wide range of longitudinal measures of social relevance, including GWAS, as causal model selection in their macrosocial models upon which they rely for their centralization of social policy. 2) Failing that, admit that it is a bad zookeeper who insists on throwing all the animals into one big pen together to slug it out and that maybe you should at least permit the animals who want walls to have them -- especially when every year the cost to one of the animals of destroying the whole zoo is decreasing while the motivation to do so is increasing. 3) Failing that, admit that maybe it is downright INHUMANE to subject animals to such treatment whether they are going to destroy the zoo, and the zookeeper, or let him get away with it.
