The term you're looking for is "overloaded" but perhaps your choice of
"overridden" is more appropriate in the current context since it is usually
the case that overloaded terms are disambiguated by their context of
usage.  In this case, the context is AGI -- a context in which there is a
very nasty -- dare I say downright catastrophic failure to pay appropriate
attention to the important distinction between lossy and lossless
compression implied by their respective locales in SDT and AIT respectively.

Your redefinition of those terms in this context comes at a time when the
world may finally be in a position to undo Popper's damage and by
redefining them in the context of AGI, you will, indeed, be "overriding"
this healing of science.
