Thanks for the suggestion Matt. Yeah I am usually all for open source myself. However, my business advisor is more inclined to go the patent/closed source route. Yeah apparently software patents _are_ possible. We are still battling it out I guess.
Note I will not be selling compression, but fast search. Just saying, it's a different market. In my latest tests, I pretty much get consistent 2ms searches over 100 MB of text.
