Few "anti-racists" would object to the idea that it is *morally* superior to oppose "racism". This is because of the *moral* grounding of their ideology. By deduction then, individualism is a morally superior *characteristic* of the individualist, as it *liberates* the individual from *groups* with which they might identify or be identified. If scientific advances bring us to an understanding of human ethology that implies that some groups are *heritably* more individualistic than other groups, there are obvious implications for sociology. Note that this, like Gödel's incompleteness theorem presents us with two levels of interpretation that seem in conflict. But they aren't if one admits that anti-racism may be a property of natural selective pressures that, given the artificial selective pressures and disparate impact on the gene pool of civilization, we may be putting in danger of exterminating. In essence, the theology of anti-racism when applied to social engineering results in a seeming paradox that we can escape only by admitting the exceptional case. ------------------------------------------ Artificial General Intelligence List: AGI Permalink: https://agi.topicbox.com/groups/agi/T234cfbcefa1d1d24-Mf7eefee2395a8796580ab836 Delivery options: https://agi.topicbox.com/groups/agi/subscription
