John, More than interesting - more like prophetic, maybe the beginnings of an antitechnology movement that I have been expecting.
I suspect the Unibomber was right, but a bit premature. Civilization has come to an inflection point, where the detriments of new technology are starting to exceed its benefits. More and more new technology will be seen as bad, e.g. they even took the dating sites off of Craigslist. Probably the single worst influence is some of the people right here on this forum, who think that any damage that AI does must be good, so they promote it despite the dangers to society and even to themselves. This will get MUCH worse.
