At least we're beginning to make an effort to think like an AGI entity. Plato would surely commend us on our philosophical efforts. Descartes might warn us off.

I said the _science_ is malformed and that making an artificial version of natural intelligence has not started yet. What's been done and industrialised is automation. It's theoretical, brain-inspired models of human brain function being run on a computer and dressed up in a robot suit. It is not empirical science of an artificial version of natural intelligence. If it was then what is being dressed up in a robot suit would NOT BE A COMPUTER, and all the folk on this list would understand that science has two halves, not one. Theoretical science AND empirical. Mistaking one for the other, the habit of half a century, would stop, and we'd actually have a real science of artificial intelligence. See the attached diagram. The ? Has ZERO entries. If it did, there's be a chip that is not a computer, but has brain signalling physics on it instead of the physics of a computer (And no, it's not a neuromorphic 'computer' either!). It would emanate electric and magnetic fiels like the brain in the middle, and we'd be comparing left and right chips, like we compare left and right everywhere else in science. And I would not be here endlessly trying to an entire science discipline to WAKE UP. What does it take to get this point across? It's right there in front of everybody like a stain in science. A science malformed and blissfully unaware. Thinking it's on a route to match supremacy, when it's not even in the right playing court. Play with computers till you turn blue.... It'll still be theoretical science, and automation, not what you think it is.. .the empirical science of an artificial version of a natural phenomenon. And it'll remain the only place in science that is deformed like this!
