Of all the people whose lives seem to have proceeded somewhat like an AGI,
George Soros seems to be at the top of the list. I was pleasantly surprised
to learn that he delivered a lecture series back in 2009, most of which was
captured on YouTube. This is a MUST see, as among other things he explains
the limits of computability of Social phenomena, the tendencies of
societies to act like people think they should act, etc.

Starting with nothing, Soros has made many billions of dollars with his
theories, trashed the Russian and British economies, etc., etc., and lost a
few billions along the way, and here he provides a sort of chain of
consciousness as to what he was thinking.

Soros' lectures provide a needed theoreticsl basis to define the hard
limits of AGI. Search for "soros lecture" in YouTube.
