Art and MP, My perception of the break from everyone else's shared reality is that Art is treating his project as an ecperimental toy, yet is talking about it as though it was a tested and working product. If a Art is to emerge from his presrnt troll image, he needs to make a choice: 1. Talk ONLY of algorithms and their handling of particular test cases WITHOUT claiming general functionality, or 2. STOP building it for a few months and start serious testing and debugging.
I did somewhat the same thing with DrEliza.com. It doesn't blow up or do crazy things any more, but neither does it achieve its promise of curing the world's chronic illnesses. I know how to get it over that hump - at the cost of ~2 years of programming and more years of table creation. I could NOT have gotten it to this point without first getting it into good enough shape for others here and elsewhere to "kick its tires". Art, this choice is YOURS. If you choose to clean it up, your logical first step would be to assemble an input script of EVERYTHING that makes it do crazy things, e.g. from postings on this forum, and start fixing its problems.
