Dear all, Following our recently developed Dagbanli Dictionary powered by Wikidata, and the series of publications about it, we’re excited again to share its next component which is the "Gballi Browser".
In Dagbanli, gballi /gbal:i/ is a woven fence that gathers, protects, and defines a space. Our Gballi Browser applies that same principle to language, a digital enclosure that brings every Dagbanli word, letter, and digraph together in one unified space. Read more about the concept from here: https://diff.wikimedia.org/2026/04/10/the-gballi-browser-designing-for-the-dagbanli-alphabet/ We invite you to: 1. Explore the browser 2. Test its functionality 3. Share feedback & ideas via the Etherpad included here on the Wikidata project page: https://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Wikidata:Dagbanli_dictionary Let’s collaborate to build sustainable digital spaces for indigenous languages. Best, Mohammed Awal
