Dear Wikimedians,

We hope this email finds you well. We invite you to join the next episode
of WikiAfrica Hour "Decolonising knowledge on Wikipedia”

We are very excited to discuss this topic with the episode guests and your
joining is very valuable.

What can you expect from the episode?

What do we mean by decolonising knowledge? Why is it important that we
document this on Wikimedia projects? What established knowledge
decolonisation projects inside (and even outside) Wikimedia should we be
paying attention to? How can we improve existing initiatives, and encourage
others to do the same?

This month on Wiki Africa Hour, we’re doing a deep dive into decolonising
knowledge with guest host, *Achal Prabhala*, who will lead a panel
experienced in disrupting the information landscape.
